Matri

Matri is a multimedia collaboration between composer and DJ Gabriel Prokofiev and visual artist Osman Koc, merging contemporary classical music with dynamic, real-time visuals. Premiered at the Bodensee Festival 2018, the performance featured an intricate interplay of sound and imagery, amplifying the depth and intensity of Prokofiev’s composition.

Osman Koc’s live visuals responded to the music’s evolving textures, creating an immersive audiovisual experience that blended electronic and acoustic elements. The performance featured the Atrium Quartet alongside clarinetist Caroline Wüst and the Percussion Ensemble of the Vorarlberg State Conservatory, pushing the boundaries of classical performance through experimental media.
